Zoom

Every Tuesday evening (mostly) I have Zoom hangout with some old friends. We talk narrative, education, philosophy, the world, Twitter, podcasts, whatever.

Most times I leave feeling like I was the dumbest, slowest thinking, least wise, most foolish person on the call. And I’m incredibly grateful for that—as painful as it is sometimes. It’s not like I’m being berated or put down—I’m just continually astounded by the depth and breadth of their thinking, wisdom, and kindness.

Keep people in your life that challenge you. It’s the only way to grow.
